Every morning when we wake up, we are either rushing to do things, as part of our daily routines, or we wake up groggy and listful, toward the new day.
Let us consider this for a moment...Whilst we (this includes me) have this attitude toward the new day, there are many who do not have that priviledge!!! That day may just be their last day! Any day can be our last!!! Any moment can be our last!!!
Knowing this, can we take our life, our breath, and all that we are blessed with (and there is plenty to be grateful for!), for granted!
Some say...'Live every day, like it is your last day!' Well, I do not like this statement, because, with it, I feel a sense of stress and pressure to do things in a hurry, adding more stress to our already stressful life.
I prefer a more tweaked statement like...Live every day, with a sense of anticipation and childlike joy, and gratitude for the blessing of yet another day, to explore ourselves and the world of infinite possibilities, around us. Heavy weight statement, but, positive, inspiring hope and full of promise!
SoulNotes to Self: Happiness is...the hope and promise that a brand new day brings!
Well, as life brings us into yet, another day, I do hope, it brings a better version of us - a version that... -- has begun the process of healing and letting go, of that which does not serve us!
-- recognises the immense potential we have, if only we would believe and act on it!
--helps us communicate our truth, and accept the other's truth with respect, and acceptance!
-- seizes the day with joy, and inspires others to follow in their joy!
I do hope tomorrow brings a better version of us, that looks at the new day with anticipation of much love, beauty, and childlike wonder and enthusiasm!
I look forward to all my tomorrows; I am excited that I will meet people, improve my existing knowledge and understanding, learn many new things and have many more experiences, that enrich my life! I wish the same for you!
Life is worth celebrating! Let us put on some good music when we wake up, sing and dance our way, into each new day!
