When I was 7 years old, I had started Keyboard lessons with my first Music Teacher, Aunty Nancy Castellino (Do check out my personal Tribute to her at www.onemoresong.in/post/a-tribute). I was inspired by her, and dreamed of being a Music Teacher like her, someday.
This dream got sidetracked along the way, whilst pursuing my general Education, and later, fulfilling career and family commitments. However, the dream to take up music teaching, kept flashing in my mind, as though nudging me to take it up.
7 years ago, I got back into Music, after a long hiatus, I couldn't ignore my soul's pull towards Music, anymore. I started teaching my niece, and son. And I started enjoying it; it reignited in me, the passion and love for music, that my heart and soul had always felt a tug towards.
Doing the things that we love, and that make us happy, is very satisfying, and somehow, connects us with our inner, authentic self, and our creator. We experience true joy and bliss in it, and we will notice, we are naturally good at it, as well; as though we were organically meant to follow that path. We may also notice, our inner self, constantly nudging at us, to remind us of that path, and won't rest till we take it up.
When we decide to, put aside our self doubts and inhibitions, and take steps to follow our heart and soul's calling, we are suddenly in a magical space, that boosts us further on our life's journey.
SoulNotes to Self: Happiness is...following your heart!
I love Music, and I love learning more in Music, and sharing it with others, especially, children.
I would like to encourage everyone, to follow their heart too, no matter, where we are at, in our lives. It is important to be happy, and connect with our true self. We then, automatically, share that bliss with others around us. And our lives, and those of our loved ones, naturally blossoms!
When we do what we love, our heart-mind-body connect and align beautifully, and our soul rejoices!
I am finally following my heart, and it has been a 100% satisfying. Are you?
Love, from my soul to yours!
Soulful
ABBA Thank you for the Music...from Mamma Mia!
Thank you for the music, the songs I'm singing
Thanks for all the joy they're bringing
Who can live without it, I ask in all honesty
What would life be? Without a song or a dance what are we?
So I say thank you for the music; for giving it to me
