Happiness is...celebrating the life-long Student (and Teacher) in us!

World Students' Day is observed on 15th October annually, to mark the birth anniversary of A.P.J. Abdul Kalam. We honour and respect him for his contribution in the field of science and technology. Most of the world lovingly remembers him for his role as a TEACHER, especially Students who were fortunate to have learned from him, in person. We continue to learn from him, through his work, and legacy. Our world is always in need of beautiful souls like him, who through their teaching, inspire a better world!

This Students' day, and every Teachers' Day, presents us with an opportunity to explore and understand, the special relationship between Teacher and Student (also, Parent and Child)!

In essence, every interaction (or relationship) can be viewed with regard and respect, in this same space.

It is said, and I firmly believe so, 'when the Student is ready, the Teacher arrives, and vice versa'.

This is true, throughout our life. When our Parents' were ready, we were born to them, to teach them how to be a Parent. And they, simultaneously, taught us life skills for survival. Later, when we are ready to learn the skill of parenting, our children our born to us.

When we are ready to learn a new skill, we find the relevant Teacher. When we are ready to learn a life lesson, our Teacher arrives, in the form of a family member, friend, close relationship, spouse, child, student, teacher, even situation / circumstances, etc.

In this school of life, we are a life-long Student (and also, a life-long Teacher)!

We are all Learners and Teachers, continuously learning from each other, and with each other, through every interaction, even though we may not be consciously aware of this, at all times.

Every moment is a teachable moment, and a learning lesson, for us all. In every moment, we are playing both these roles! And the beautiful result that emerges from these interactions, is mutual learning and growing together.

If we start to look at our interactions, with this understanding, we stand to realise and appreciate the quantum of learning /growing that is continuously happening within us, and also through us, and through the other.

However, this understanding does not always come to us automatically; it will need to be consciously cultivated, with an effort to be aware and open, to this idea.

SoulNotes to Self: Happiness is...celebrating the life-long Student (and Teacher) in us!

As a Teacher, a Parent, and a Student-of-life, I have come to appreciate this relationship, and understand its value.

I feel blessed for all whom I have learned from, and probably also taught.

I feel blessed for these continuous reciprocal learning-teaching experiences.

I am grateful for my family, friends, relatives, colleagues, peers, teachers, for blessing my life, with their rich valuable teaching, guidance, support, acceptance, patience and love.

I am especially grateful for my Sam and all the children I have interacted with or had / have the priviledge of teaching / learning with. They have been my purest and wisest teachers, in every sense.

Sam, has definitely been my biggest teacher! My life changed completely, when he made his priceless entry!💓

So, let us celebrate that we are a life-long Student, in this infinite school of life, with infinite opportunities for learning and growth! and HAPPINESS! and MIRACLES!

That learning and teaching are not separate activites, but manifesting simultaneously, to grow us into our true, authentic self, to empower us to live an abundant blissful life!

Love, from my soul to yours!

Soulful
