Happiness is...celebrating close friendships!💓

Our close friendships are beautiful soulful relationships - earth angels that help us along our soul's journey! These relationships bring much joy, and emotional balance and support to us.

Most friendships that last well into our adulthood, are time tested, and the bond and trust is strong enough, to carry us through the challenges in that friendship, and in life.

It always feels warm when an old friend calls to see how we are doing. Talking to our friends, especially during times of emotional downtime, makes us feel like everything is going to be ok. They give us courage and faith, and help us see the light in times/situations of perceived darkness.

If you are like me, then you will agree that, our friends are an extension to our family - 'Framily' - our soul family by choice! We love them as family, and they reciprocate with mutual love, warmth, trust, loyalty, and support.

Sometimes, we can have never-ending conversations with a best friend, or meet an old friend after a long time, and feel like nothing has changed!

I also believe, that some friendships fall apart, either organically or as I would like to see it, fated to grow apart, as both individuals learn and grow through life, and grow out of that friendship. In such situations, it is best to appreciate the time spent together, and let it go.

SoulNote to Self: Happiness is...celebrating close friendships!

I have had very few close friends, but, each one of them has been very special to me, and has enriched my life.

Each one has resonated with one or more aspect of my personality and / or passions, and brought joy and meaning to my world.

Some have helped me realise unhealthy patterns in me, that need changing, and have gently encouraged me towards much needed change.

Some have been a rock for me, through their acceptance, support and love.

Some have been an inspiration, to empower me to follow my dreams.

Some have been there for me, as I have wept during challenges, comforting me through my pain, and process of letting go.

Some have seen me at my worst, and have loved my anyways.

Some have laughed with me, over absolutely ridiculous things!

But, what I have come to love the most in my friendships, is the integrity that these bring to my life, the trust that it restores, the love and warmth that it supplies, the acceptance, the support and encouragement to be Me! Nothing more, nothing less, just Me!

I am grateful for the wonderful friends that I am blessed with! They are my family, and I love them very much. They are always welcome in my home. And I would like them to know that they can count on me, to be there for them, just like they have been there for me!

Lots of love, warmth, hugs, and kisses to my amazing framily 💓!

Carole King's 'You've got a friend'...an epic collaboration with Celine Deon, Gloria Estefan, Shania Twain...

When you're down and troubled, And you need some lovin' care And nothin', nothin' is goin' right, Close your eyes and think of me And soon I will be there, To brighten up even your darkest night
